hṛdayaṁ madhuraṁ gamanaṁ madhuraṁ madhurādhipatērakhilaṁ madhuram ||1||

O Krishna, Your lips, face, eyes, and smile are all sweet and beautiful
Your heart and Your gait are sweet; O Lord of all sweetness, everything about You is sweet ||1||

vacanaṁ madhuraṁ caritaṁ madhuraṁ vasanaṁ madhuraṁ valitaṁ madhuram
calitaṁ madhuraṁ bhramitaṁ madhuraṁ madhurādhipatērakhilaṁ madhuram ||2||

O Krishna, Your words, character, clothing, and graceful bend are all sweet
Your movements and playful roaming are sweet; O Lord of all sweetness, everything about You is sweet ||2||

vēṇurmadhurō rēṇurmadhuraḥ pāṇirmadhuraḥ pādau madhurau
nr̥tyaṁ madhuraṁ sakhyaṁ madhuraṁ madhurādhipatērakhilaṁ madhuram ||3||

O Krishna, Your flute, the dust of Your feet, Your hands, and Your feet are all sweet
Your dance and Your friendship are sweet; O Lord of all sweetness, everything about You is sweet ||3||

gītaṁ madhuraṁ pītaṁ madhuraṁ bhuktaṁ madhuraṁ suptaṁ madhuram
rūpaṁ madhuraṁ tilakaṁ madhuraṁ madhurādhipatērakhilaṁ madhuram ||4||

O Krishna, Your song, Your drinking, Your eating, and Your sleep are all sweet
Your beautiful form and the tilaka on Your forehead are sweet; O Lord of all sweetness, everything about You is sweet ||4||

karaṇaṁ madhuraṁ taraṇaṁ madhuraṁ haraṇaṁ madhuraṁ smaraṇaṁ madhuram
vamitaṁ madhuraṁ śamitaṁ madhuraṁ madhurādhipatērakhilaṁ madhuram ||5||

O Krishna, Your deeds, Your act of ferrying across, Your playful stealing, and Your remembrance are all sweet
Your overflowing joy and Your tranquility are sweet; O Lord of all sweetness, everything about You is sweet ||5||

guñjā madhurā mālā madhurā yamunā madhurā vīcī madhurā
salilaṁ madhuraṁ kamalaṁ madhuraṁ madhurādhipatērakhilaṁ madhuram ||6||

O Krishna, Your gunja garland, Your flower garland, the Yamuna river, and its waves are all sweet
The waters of Yamuna and the lotus are sweet; O Lord of all sweetness, everything about You is sweet ||6||

gōpī madhurā līlā madhurā yuktaṁ madhuraṁ muktaṁ madhuram
dr̥ṣṭaṁ madhuraṁ śiṣṭaṁ madhuraṁ madhurādhipatērakhilaṁ madhuram ||7||

O Krishna, the gopis, Your divine play, Your union with devotees, and the liberation You grant are all sweet
Your gracious glance and Your noble conduct are sweet; O Lord of all sweetness, everything about You is sweet ||7||

gōpā madhurā gāvō madhurā yaṣṭirmadhurā sr̥ṣṭirmadhurā
dalitaṁ madhuraṁ phalitaṁ madhuraṁ madhurādhipatērakhilaṁ madhuram ||8||

O Krishna, the cowherd boys, the cows, Your herding staff, and all of Your creation are sweet
Your crushing of evil and Your granting of fruits are sweet; O Lord of all sweetness, everything about You is sweet ||8||
