सन्तान गणपति स्तोत्रम्
Santana Ganapati Stotram is a hymn to Sri Ganapati in his aspect as Santana Ganapati, traditionally invoked for the blessing of children and family welfare.
A six-verse Anuṣṭubh hymn addressed to Gaṇapati as the lord of Siddhi and Buddhi, praying for the blessing of children, the flourishing of one's lineage, and their lifelong devotion to the deity.
namō'stu gaṇanāthāya siddhibuddhiyutāya ca
sarvapradāya dēvāya putravr̥ddhipradāya ca ||1||
I bow to the leader of Ganas, who is always accompanied by Siddhi (prosperity) and Buddhi (wisdom)
To the god who fulfils all wishes and blesses devotees with children and their flourishing
gurūdarāya guravē gōptrē guhyāsitāya tē
gōpyāya gōpitāśēṣabhuvanāya cidātmanē ||2||
Salutations to You — the great-bellied one, teacher of all teachers, protector, and the one free of hidden attachments
To the hidden one who holds all worlds within, and whose very nature is pure awareness
viśvamūlāya bhavyāya viśvasr̥ṣṭikarāya tē
namō namastē satyāya satyapūrṇāya śuṇḍinē ||3||
Salutations to You — the very foundation of the cosmos, the source of all auspiciousness, and the maker of the universe
Again and again I bow to You — who are truth itself, who are full of truth, and who bear the divine trunk
ēkadantāya śuddhāya sumukhāya namō namaḥ
prapannajanapālāya praṇatārtivināśinē ||4||
Again and again I bow to the single-tusked Lord, who is pure and whose face is ever gracious and welcoming
To the one who shelters all who take refuge in Him, and who removes all suffering from those who bow at His feet
śaraṇaṁ bhava dēvēśa santatiṁ sudr̥ḍhā kuru
bhaviṣyanti ca yē putrā matkulē gaṇanāyaka ||5||
O supreme God, please be my shelter and bless my family line with strength and stability
O Ganapati, leader of the divine hosts, may all sons who will be born into my family in future
tē sarvē tava pūjārthaṁ niratāḥ syurvarōmataḥ
putrapradamidaṁ stōtraṁ sarvasiddhipradāyakam ||6||
May they all, by Your gracious blessing, always be engaged in Your devotion and worship
